Karen is an Audit Partner with the Sensiba San Filippo LLP Manufacturing and Distribution Group. Her understanding of the needs of privately held businesses and their desire to maximize financial income while minimizing taxes has made her a valued partner to her clients throughout her twenty plus year career in public accounting. Karen’s approach encompasses her belief that privately held companies and their owners are intricately linked because in this environment, business is personal. Her experience includes operational and financial services to her clients, including not only financial compliance audits and reviews, but acquisition due diligence, best practices in internal control considerations and other related matters. Karen is a licensed CPA in both California and Nevada, and is active in the community including serving on the boards of StarStruck Community Theatre and Niles Rotary in Fremont.
