HeadWater™ is an annual leadership conference for accounting firm partners across the United States. The 2009 conference theme is "Leading During Troubled Times."

Mr. Sensiba’s presentation will focus on changing firm culture as he participates in a panel-led discussion on "Best Practices in Moving Away from the Book of Business Culture." Mr. Sensiba will be discussing how his organization successfully moved away from the traditional “book of business” compensation format prevalent in many accounting firms.

SSF’s participation stemmed from their recent success in moving to a compensation model that focuses on active participation, leadership, mentorship, engagement profitability and efficiency. The ongoing results have been increased client satisfaction, improved staff development practices, a more cohesive partner group and better succession planning for retiring partners.
