SAN JOSE, CALIF. December 1, 2009 – Ireland San Filippo, LLP, a Bay Area leader in audit, tax and business consulting, is proud to announce that going forward it will be known as Sensiba San Filippo LLP. The firm’s decision to alter its name is part of a broader re-branding campaign designed to reflect its modern identity and to best position the firm for continued growth.

“It has been a privilege to help build a firm that has provided unparalleled service to a diverse group of clients for over 30 years,” said Steve San Filippo. “With our roots firmly planted, we now look ahead to the future in our continued efforts to deliver superb service to our clients for generations to come.”

As with its former name, the firm’s new identity continues to reflect a rich history. The firm was originally founded in 1975 and with the addition of Steve San Filippo and others in 1986, the Ireland San Filippo name was born. In 1998, Mr. Ireland retired and John Sensiba came on board. Mr. Sensiba recently took the helm as Managing Partner, creating the perfect opportunity for the firm to forge a more contemporary identity.

“It is a true honor to have my name represent the firm alongside Steve’s. I look forward to leading our remarkably talented staff with the same passion and dedication that Steve and other firm leaders have shown throughout Sensiba San Filippo’s history,” Mr. Sensiba said.

As part of the firm’s strategy for growth, Sensiba San Filippo will focus on further developing a number of core practice areas. The name change also comes in conjunction with a planned move of the San Jose office into a new, more centrally located space and the relocation of the Fremont office to a new space that will facilitate the firm’s expansion into the Tri-Valley area. The firm will maintain its other offices in San Mateo and Morgan Hill.

Included in the rollout of the new name is a new logo, enhanced brochures and other materials, refined core messaging and an updated web site, www.ssfllp.com.
