With over 14 years of accounting experience, Tax Partner Anna Baker, specializes in tax compliance, business strategy, and strategic planning for individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates, with a primary focus on serving clients in the real estate sector.

She has extensive experience working with and advising real estate syndication groups, real estate developers, and multi-tiered real estate entities that often extend to related trusts, estates, and individuals. Anna also serves clients in the professional service industry, hospitality sector, and manufacturing industries, assisting with tax compliance, transaction analysis, and business strategy in the context of tax reform. She works with several multi-state, consolidated entities, and corporations with foreign investors and activities.

Anna enjoys staying current with tax law changes and complexities and takes these opportunities to think dynamically and assist clients with strategic planning. She has several industry publications, including an article published by Bloomberg Tax with insights on Qualified Opportunity Zones.

Anna received her Bachelor of Arts from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, where she graduated Cum Laude. She is a licensed CPA in the State of California, and she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Anna has also served as a board member for non-profit organizations supporting the academic and musical success of local youth. Outside of work, Anna participates in equestrian sports and equine training. She enjoys learning about health, nutrition, and sustainable living, and she has a passion for sharing this knowledge with others.
